2. Call your energy provider and sign up to the solar net-metering program in your area.
3. Call your municipality and find out if you can pull your own permits for installing solar. Some municipalities require a Master Electrician to pull your electrical permit. You will need to find one that will work with you before you proceed. Most residences will need to pull a building permit as well.
4. We give you a free site-plan with the energy production report and a complete estimate with an itemized list of materials for your solar install. We don’t hide anything and we do it all for free.
5. We offer a free Single Line Diagram for your solar kit system which you will need for the electrical permit.

Canada Greener Homes Grant
OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS
The grant covers eligible retrofits like home insulation, windows and doors, heat pumps and solar panels as well as resiliency measures.
You must undertake both a pre- and post-retrofit EnerGuide evaluation of your home to be eligible for the grant.
Grants from $125 to $5,000 To get back a portion of your costs for eligible home retrofits.
Up to $600 As a maximum contribution toward the total costs of your pre- and post-retrofit EnerGuide evaluations.
Call your energy provider and let them know your want to install solar on your home and they will let you know the next steps to take through them. If you move forward you will sign up to become a net metering site for your solar energy.
